An important era of her work was designing and reimagining unique stoves and fireplaces for reconstruction and renovation projects of historical buildings in Hungary. A frequent problem when renovating and reconstructing historical spaces in Hungary is the lack of information available regarding its original condition, thanks to the looting and destroying the cultural heritage during the WWs.
Her design process does not replicate styles, but paraphrases using the design vocabulary of an era, drawing inspiration from the context for each piece. As such her pieces become an integral, functional part of the interior design of a space, rather than afterthoughts placed after completion.
The uniqueness of her work is not content to be formed by superficial characteristics such as the proportions of a space, becoming an integral part of a whole instead. Her work communicates with its context, creating emphasis or joining design elements, fusing the spatial design into a contiguous whole. Her most recent work is a masonry stove for the Dunaharaszti Laffert-kúria (mansion), designed to paraphrase baroque period masonry stoves. In addition to the design, she oversaw its manufacture and construction.
Her distinctive interior pieces – unique masonry stoves and hearths – are organically integrated into the interior design of a space, conceived simultaneously with the interior design concept in close collaboration with architects and interior designers.
