WASTE TO RECOURCE

Sustainable activity on site -

Postindustrial rehabilitation project at Ifö Center

I created a new range of claybody recipes from the silicate leftovers and wastes I collected in the abandoned Ifö Isolators factory area. Now, other artists can use these recipes and claybodies to manufacture artisanal items on site. This supports Ifö Center’s artistic and cultural projects, and also help to maintain and clean the area with a single gesture of waste to art.

IFÖPLANT I.-VI.

I made large pots based on my recipes, both to understand the material better, and as a way to connect with people and get them involved in the project. The plan is that next season, local people will be able to plant in the large IföPlant pots at the Center.
