Every complex problem such as sustainability is always an opportunity for innovation. Breaking down the complexity and identifying specific issues that surround sustainability generate a matrix of constraints that I work with and use as a source for innovation in my design.
My work is not about creating new objects and forms but understanding this material, understanding its constraints which represent opportunities for innovation. Not just in terms of designing a product but designing the process that generates the product.
I didn’t want that the items could be easily categorized as an exact product or a piece of art. I like to create something somewhere in between, blur the boundaries to make an experimental research. A first version of something that opens new windows and generates further thinking.
I turned my focus from creating a product to coming up with experimental items which have the potential to transform into architectural products.
My concept is based on this duality.

INTEGRAL PLANNING
In the case of architectural ceramics it is important that the object is involved from the very beginning when concepts are formed. Space and object should be planned together thus the latter becomes an integral element of it's environment.
