The exhibition presents the work of a selection of eleven ceramicists, who have been asked to interpret an engineered architectural ceramic component. This component a light diffusing sinuous cone, form part of a full-scale ceramic ceiling comprising 200 sinuous cones.
Beside several artists Edit Szabo was invited to interpret these forms using her individual approaches.
The resulting body of Edit Szabó’s work represents a new material mixture to reach a special translucent quality to achieve a bright display.
